IDTS offers Canvas and other learning technology training sessions for all departments. Please find training information below.

Fall 2020 Events 

Canvas Basics Training

Canvas Basics training session is required for all faculty to attend before they teach courses in Canvas. In Canvas Basics training session we will cover topics including using syllabus template in Canvas, setting up modules, using assignments, gradebook, discussion boards, and other relevant topics. We will offer the training sessions online. Please sign up below in advance. 

Canvas Advanced Training

In Canvas Advanced Training sessions, we will introduce best practices and tips of using various Canvas features. Each session will cover a different topic. We will offer the training sessions online. Please sign up below in advance.

Learning Technology Training

In Learning Technology Training sessions, we will introduce best practice and tips of using technology tools that are available to UC instructors. Each session will cover a different topic. We will offer the training sessions online. Please sign up below in advance.
