UC Clermont's Respiratory Care Program has clinical affiliations with the majority of hospitals in the Cincinnati area. Students will incorporate classroom and laboratory experiences into practice at the various clinical sites.
Graduates can work in a variety of careers. Recent graduates are working in areas hospital as staff therapist or shift leaders. Some have become managers or educators while others are employed in home care. You can transition within the UC family to obtain a Bachelor's of Science in Respiratory Care at our Uptown Campus.
Graduates are eligible to sit for the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) Exams. After passing the board exam students may apply for a state license which allows them to function as a therapist limited only by the scope of practice prescribed by the authorizing state.
