Transition Advising at UC Clermont College
March 1 is the priority deadline for transfer/transition students to apply to DAAP for 2019 Fall Semester. Applications received after March 1 will be considered if space remains available. To apply, simply fill out a Change in College (CoC) Form, along with a one-page personal statement (if interested in multiple majors within DAAP, fill out a CoC form and personal statement for each major and indicate your first priority, second, etc.)
The application review process will take place throughout March and April. Decisions will be sent to current UC students via their UC email accounts. If students have not received a decision or an update on their status by April 15, please feel free to contact DAAP Student Affairs at email@example.com or 513-556-1376 for a status update.
The application for students applying to cohort beginning in Fall 2019 will be open Feb. 4-22. Applications are completed electronically in an appointment with an advisor.
Things to know:
Applications are completed in Tk20. If you do not already have access, you will apply through a guest account. This is no big deal! You will eventually purchase an account pending cohort acceptance.
-NO recommendation letters are needed.
-NOTHING is required before the appointment.*
*Valid BCI/FBI background checks must be on file in order to have a complete application. Read more about how to submit, if needed.
-Applications submitted on the last day are reviewed equally to those submitted on day one. There is no need to panic if you can’t get in right away.
-If you are required to pass Praxis Core, consider scheduling near the end of the month to give yourself more time.
To set up your appointment with an Education Advisor, please call CECH Student Services Center’s front desk at 513-556-2336. Let our staff know the reason for your appointment is to apply to cohort and that you are a UC Clermont student.
