UC Clermont

College Success Program

UC Clermont has designed a mandatory academic support program called the College Success Program (CSP) for students whose academic profile and placement into developmental English AND developmental mathematics suggest they will benefit from a structured transition to college. This program has been created to provide the additional support for the student to be successful at UC Clermont.

At orientation or during the registration process, students complete documentation indicating their understanding of the expectations for participants in the program. During the fall semester, CSP students enroll in a learning community that consists of a course designed to engage students in discussion and activities to enhance their learning and study skills called Student Readiness and MLTI1000, along with developmental English and mathematics courses. To support the classroom experiences, CSP students also attend Success Skills Workshops and mentoring support sessions.

We are committed to your success.

While college is an adventure, it can get overwhelming with classes, studying, co-curricular events and social activities. To provide resources and support above and beyond the classroom, the College Success Program is here to help.

Learn more about campus resources for academic success, connect with faculty and staff, and tackle common problems many first-year and transfer students run into. We have programs to help you succeed at every stage of your journey at UC Clermont — from before you arrive on campus, through your first year navigating classes and programs, to when you need that extra push to graduate.
