UC Clermont Summer Scholars Program
UC Clermont is seeking 15 first-year students interested in getting a jump-start on their college journey to join our Summer Scholars Program.
The goal of this four-week program is to provide you with educational opportunities to help you transition to college in fall 2024. You will participate in a variety of hands-on experiential learning activities, network with local industry professionals and earn scholarship funds for the upcoming academic year. We look forward to having you join the Bearcat family!
Expectations
- Attend the Information Session on Wednesday, May 22, from 5 - 6 p.m. on the UC Clermont campus
- Attend bi-weekly class sessions from 10 a.m.–2 p.m. on June 4, 6, 11, 13, 18, 20, 25 and 27 (lunch will be provided)
Benefits
- $15 per hour for attending class sessions
(4 hours × 8 sessions = 32 hours) - Personalized support from UC Clermont staff
- Assistance with UC Clermont enrollment process (financial aid, registration, etc.)
- $1,500 scholarship if you enroll in classes full time for fall semester 2024
- Five Academic Coaching sessions
- Hands-on academic experiences with faculty
