UC Clermont Learning Commons was recently awarded the Frank L. Christ Outstanding Learning Center Award for two-year colleges. The team received the award during the International College Learning Center Association conference Sept. 25 in Salt Lake City, Utah.


The Learning Commons provides FREE centralized academic support for University of Cincinnati students by bringing together faculty, best-practices in teaching and learning, and hundreds of outstanding peer educators to create flexible academic success programming.

One-on-One Tutoring

The Learning Commons offers tutoring in more than 300 subject areas.  Tutoring sessions are one-on-one with a subject-specific tutor and are free of charge.

 


Writing Help

The Academic Writing Center (AWC) provides free writing tutoring to help UC Clermont students build confidence and skills in writing. The AWC can help with any writing assignment for any course and at any stage of the writing process.


Drop-In Tutoring

Drop-in study tables are small group tutoring tables based on your course where you can collaborate with fellow students and learn from your table leader. No appointments needed!


Group Review Sessions

Group Review Sessions (GRS) are small study groups that meet each week to review content that is covered in your lecture that week.  Only certain courses are supported by GRS.


Academic Coaching

Academic Coaching program helps students investigate their academic habits and college success skills (procrastination, time management, etc.) and develop stronger skills through reflection and practice.


College Success Skills

Success Skills Workshops are free one-hour sessions that focus on skills students need to be successful in college like study skills, note-taking, motivation, etc.


Math Placement Test Preparation

Are you about to take the math placement test and need a math refresher?  We offer a free, online math placement test workshops led by a professional math tutor.
